A nicely renovated farm with unique rooms, small but all done very nicely. We were on a short visit to nearby Oxford, but would be happy to come back with friends for a longer stay. Full breakfast brought to the room is a nice touch!...

Location. Quiet, rural setting but within walking distance of historic town (Abingdon) and close driving distance to Oxford.
Cleanliness could have been better, especially the breakfast cutlery. Toilet seat kept collapsing. Staff were ignorant about local walks and access to the Thames and tow paths etc. Breakfast options not clearly explained the night before.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to apologise for the noisy guests in the adjoining room, (party until 2am) and the lack of working lights in the room. Other than that the location was good...

Lovely buildings, staff welcomed us warmly and the room we had (b&b) was not awesome but still really nice
No Wi-Fi (the code was missing in the room and when we asked the code we were given the wrong one) about the breakfast, a few things like one orange juice for two only?

Dog friendly. Breakfast brought to the door at chosen time.
No shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc supplied in my room even though it was in other rooms. Only one sachet of coffee and no hot chocolate either.

Its solitude and quietness
Breakfast served in the room with nowhere to put the plates onto. Our room right alongside the Boiler which woke us several times.

Our stary at Kingfisher was very pleasant in that it has the country side environment and yet it is near Oxford which is ideal for us. The hotel is clean too.
We have little time to explore the facilities offerred!

Room was well equipped. Clean and tidy. Very good breakfast. Good location and nice and quiet.
The firdge made a horrible noise in the night and I had to switch it off. There was an edlectrical appliance of some sort in the neighboring room which regularly kicked in and made the most horrendous noise. The WiFi was weak.

Nice location, breakfast in bed as standard is nice!
Could do with an update, rooms were a bit cold and booking in / checking out was not exactly straightforward!

The bedroom area and bathroom were both a good size. There was a fridge and microwave which was very handy. The lady who welcomed me was very polite.
The breakfast was cold the toast was burnt and very very greasy. There was no set area to go and eat breakfast it was bought to your room which I did not like.

Room chilly, unable to turn heat on at night, plug sockets not conveniently placed, lighting very poor, drapes did not keep out light from courtyard, nowhere comfortable to sit and read or use laptop, bed very soft (2 mattresses!) bathroom fan noisy and seemed to go on for ever.
